Our People
The key to any successful company is the staff who work there. At Rob Young Building, our employees are constantly striving to offer the highest level of service to ensure customer satisfaction. Whatever you need they will take care of you - and all with a smile on their face. We specialise in home extensions and structural alterations. As part of these building projects we have a trusted team of contacts who we call on for plastering, electrics and plumbing to keep the project on time and the quality of our work high.
Rob Young
Director & Project Manager
With over 18 years of experience, Rob has a real passion and a keen eye for transforming homes. He originally qualified as a joiner in 2006 and began working with a close friend as a joiner as well as helping his dad in roofing and building work. Rob has gone on to learn most trades and used his talents to renovate two of his own properties which included building a double storey extension. Rob then set up his own business which has expanded rapidly and has completed hundreds of renovations and builds. The business has a large clientele through personal recommendation with lots of happy customers. As a manager, Rob takes a very hands-on approach and is extremely knowledgeable.
Robyn Young
Director & Personal Assistant
Robyn is behind the scenes of Rob Young Building Ltd. She in charge of book keeping, all social media content and administrative tasks. Robyn is extremely organised and whilst this new role is slightly different to her previous line of work, she loves a new challenge.
Kenny
Skilled Labourer
Hard work, strength and good team work is what’s needed to be a labourer. Ours tick all the boxes. Very lucky to have Kenny as part of our team!

Dave
Joiner
These are our window, door and all things joinery specialists. Dave has been in the trade for over 20 years. He has a keen eye for detail. Great to have him on board.
Matty
Joiner
Matty is Dave's right hand man and has worked alongside him for many years. They work well as a team. Matty also has excellent attention to detail -what every good joiner needs! We're glad to have him as part of our team.
Mitch
Apprentice
Mitch is currently undergoing his bricklaying NVQ L2 at college. He is very motivated and willing to learn. We are pleased to have him.
Keith
Skilled Tradesman
Keith is a skilled tradesman at Rob Young Building. He originally qualified in 2005 as a roofer however is he able to put his hand to most things including bricklaying and building. He is a hard worker and very friendly. We are lucky to have Keith as part of our team!
Ash
Plumber
Ash (Aquafix Services) is one of our trusted contacts. He is reliable, friendly and hard working. From kitchen sinks to radiators, bathrooms to new boilers; it's always a pleasure working alongside him.
